You are wet and uncontrolled animals with no sense of resolve
Beasts acting on instinct, holding onto absent souls
You are so easy to kill and so very quick to decompose
You are just slaves to your world, I have seen your kind before
Mortality passing me by
It’s far too late for me to die
Mortality passing me by
If only you could see the world with my eyes
Your weak limbs move to commune like flailing serpents
In that useless, horrid ritual in which you hunt for purpose
You seek to spawn the future of your pitiful, dying race
When you jettison the body that will only take up space
Mortality passing me by
It’s far too late for me to die
Mortality passing me by
If only you could see the world with my eyes
You’ll die without me
But you’ll still die with me
Tell me why it matters
That you keep existing
You’ll die without me
But you’ll still die with me
Tell me why it matters
That you keep existing
Reality is out of phase, drowning in the sand
Imperfections in the simulacrum of a dying man
Deconstruct your sorrow in the symbiotic Christ
You are just another one in a never ending line

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ

One of the best metal albums I've heard this decade. Has a mournful, one of a kind atmosphere that has yet to be replicated by just about any other band. 10/10 honeycombguy
